  1. Halloween mood: the sky is crying and even the leaves' glorious colors have paled. Pumpkins are wearing their grim grin costumes. Not Gladly does not know how a teddy bear with bald spots is to behave: Should she join the chorus of harrowing voices or should she close the door and forget it all in a bag of Twix?

  2. As tempting as a bag of Twix was, and it was VERY tempting, Halloween only comes once a year! No matter how harrowing last Halloween was, she couldn't hide from the world.

    Not Gladly looked outside.

  3. outside, houses are decked in weird
    ghostly decors.
    every halloween
    to me is harrowing,
    the need for costumes
    for trick & treating,
    for preparing
    packs of sweet things
for the little ones that come
    trick or treating ...
