  1. The Deathly Martini:

    Ingredients:
2 cups of Rendered Duck Fat
    1 Rhubarb Leaf
    Tincture of Belladonna
1 shot of Bitter Almond Vodka

Heat the duck fat until it shimmers. In the meantime chiffonade the leaf. Deep fry the leaf strands until crisp. Drain the strands on paper towels.

Swirl tincture of belladonna in a glass. Shake bitter almond vodka over ice. Strain into the glass. Top with a deep fried rhubarb leaf strand.

Note: Save remaining rhubarb strands for other purposes. They are great for Japanese beetles.

    Recipe for Deathly Halloween Balls:

    Bake a devils food cake.
    When cool, crumble finely.
Warm a tub of deep, dark, death-by-chocolate icing.
Mix all (or at least half) of icing with cake crumbs. Chill in icy cold vault for 3 hrs.
Shape into eyeballs & lay to rest on cookie sheets.
Throw the little devils into the deep freeze until they are stiffs.
Drown them in your choice of a vat of dark chocolate almond bark, or other melted chocolate. Then, back into the cold storage vault until ready to serve.

Can also decorate with your choice of ghoulish icings, etc.
