The word today is 'PLUMULE':

Looking for a challenge? Today we introduce 'December Cheer': make your entries festive in time for the holidays. Wrap them with gold ribbon, twinkle them with lights, give them an end of year glitter, any way you wish.

Keep all entries clean, creative, and courteous.
Enjoy the game!

PS: We welcome all suggestions and comments. Just go to the 'suggestions' page and let us know what you think. For information on how to play the game, please refer to the 'Be Loqwacious' page. Thank you.

  1. I've decided to turn the mule
    into a plumule.
    Who wants to eat donkey
    when they can have turkey
    with stuffing and gravy,
    by the Christmas tree?
    I'm cheerful and happy
    and jammed packed with glee.
    Hohoho, come and join me
    on this December joy spree.
    Lights, glitter, friendship.
Good food and wine to sip.

Happy Loqwacious Day on this glorious Sunday!

  2. When Santa asked what would I like?
It wasn't jewelry, clothes, or a bike.
I looked at him and then I said,
"I'd like a plumule comforter on my bed,
a plumule pillow under my head,
for what I have is an old bedspread."
He replied," Let me see what I can do
for you, perhaps if there's a sale..."
We sat beneath the lighed wreath
    wishing for the greatest feats
    of hope, love, and peace

  3. Plumules of mascara
    Run down her face
    In her hand
A replica of her gram's wedding ring
    The ghost of Christmas past

  4. ...every christmas by the inglenook
i settle comfortably with a book
as everyone at the kitchen help to cook.
    later, i gather scattered plumule
    some to tickle our mule
the rest are used to cajole
neighbors for cash, as we carol...
