In spaulders and pauldrons, in fluted couters and angular, in vambraces and rearbraces and articulated gorgets, in the cuirass, the faulds and cuisses, the poleyns, greaves and sabatons. And all, all held together by bolts and welds and links and rivets, rivets beaten with peens, great rivets and blind rivets and small rivets and rivulets and rivulettas. Drowning in detail, drowning in words, drowning in rivulets. Drowning ...

    "You have to learn to accept good enough," said his mother, bringing him tea and biscuits. "After all, Arthur, it's only show and tell."

  4. Culture clash!

    Of course, if Arthur had been preparing for a show and tell, I Guess his Mom would have served him Milk and Cookies; as his mother served him tea and bicuits I Suppose he was really working on a School Project.

    Late night when I wrote the earlier entry- half asleep. That's my excuse anyway!
