Our Jambolana
ReplyDeletefound in Asia
is a shady fruit tree
with a pedigree
bears delicious
and luscious
fruits caliginous
When eating an ice cream
ReplyDeleteunder the jambolana tree
never daydream
and be too carefree.
Because very close by
lies the biggest danger
of a lover's lie
and his pointed dagger.
His is the jealous sort
our prince consort.
He cares for his queen
and is still very green
about affairs of the heart
when she stands and departs.
He loses it a bit
and feels like a misfit.
Hence the thought of violence
when he watches her in silence.
THE END!
Goodbye Joe me gotta go me oh manna
ReplyDeleteMe gotta go pull the pirogue down savannah
My Yvonne the sweetest one me oh manna

Son of a gun we'll have big fun on savannah
(Yeah I know - it's supposed to be Rhyming not Ludicrous Lyrics.. but the word is so like "jambalaya"!!)
It's ok, Tidd. The point is to do what makes us happy. Thank you for another great post!
