I set out to make some doughnuts today. They were gorgeous, fluffy, sweet (but not TOO sweet), filled with organic rhubarb and ginger jam, and dusted with cinnamon and fructose.
ReplyDeleteI set them out on a tray to cool, and meanwhile went to answer a knock at my front door. It was my neighbour, Homer Simpson. We spoke for a few minutes, then he asked to use my bathroom, and left soon after. When I got back to the kitchen, every last doughnut had gone.
D'OUGH!
