As the flood waters subsided, the holidaymakers found that two of their companions were missing. "Anyone seen Max?" called out the tour guide. "And Osmar hasn't been seen for a while - are they all right?"

"But Max usually disappears about this time of the day with that attractive elderly redhead, you know, Mrs... oh, what's her name dear?" he nudged his wife. "You mean Edna Trouble-Wherever-She-Goes?' replied his wife cattily. "That's the one" nodded the Colonel.
"What about Osmar?" "I heard a 'he he he' sound, just before the tsunami struck" volunteered Lucy Gordon, "but now I think about it, that could have been the sound of the approaching wave".
