No-one knows where this cheese is made. Described as a green Swiss cheese made with clover, local dairy cattle when interviewed said "Pull the other one, it's got bells on!" Expert fromagers have all claimed it is an invention or even a hoax. No New York deli has been found that stocks it.

They been beating the doors downs at the Frying Dutchman, 666 Cheddar Lane, Cheshire, CT. A new dish has taken the city by storm called Pootine. It consists of sweet potato fries smothered in turkey gravy and a healthy grating of asiago cheese on top.
Chef Andre declares “I can’t make enough of Pootine. People have comes as far as Ungava to get my Pootine. We sell out of it by 2 pm.”
This reporter has tried the dish and I will be back as soon as possible.
Dairy Aires Soon To Open
ReplyDeleteA speciality shop/restaurant is opening soon in Unknown Town, Georgia. Offered up will be: fine wines, crackers, appetizers,hard to find items, desserts, and their own special Sapsago cheese. (A secret ingredient is added to the cheese to make its incredible flavor) Samples were given out last Friday, and I understand that Mr. Monterey Jack was the first there, followed by B. Chedder and R. Colby. When asked their opinion, they merely gave me a cheesy grin. Personally, I can't wait for the place to open. I'm willing to pay a little green for a little green(cheese, that is). Grand opening is next week, and I'll be back. I'll update at that time.
