  1. The Lesser-Spotted, Long-Haired, Horned ILLECEBROUS stopped to admire his own reflection in a still, calm, glacial pool. He hadn't noticed a starving sabre toothed tigress stalking him for the past few miles.

    He bent lower to see his alluring visage peering back at him from the mirror-still waters. As he stood there, in admiration, all of a sudden...

  2. a leaf fell upon the water. It was carried by the illecebrous north wind. It's ripples disturbed the reflection.

    The Illecebrous raised its head up and saw the sabretooth. Preening, it raised up on his hindquarters, ready for what may come.

  3. 'Hello, gorgeous', purred the tigress, 'my o my, aren't you in an illecebrous mood today!'
    Our horned friend fell back on all fours. Why was the ferocious lady talking to him this way? Was it one too many Martinis? Or the fear of being sent to the dungeon?
    'Bless your illecebrous soul, my lady' -he replied- 'for it shall see...

  5. Unexpectedly, the tigress frowned. The Illecebrous turned to see a Ten-Striped, Foul-Furred, Yellow-Fanged ODIOUS rise up from the glacial pool. "Greetings," its raspy voice croaked.

  6. The Illecebrous yelped and jumped into the waiting arms of the sabre-tooth, who stared at him as if to say "I didn't ask for this! Did I?"

    The Odious bared its horrid yellow fangs again, then, having studied Ovid at school, metamorphosed into Cupid. "Ta daaaa" he cried. "No need to point my arrows here then!"
