  1. Dear Maryse

Please disconnect your mind-reading equipment, it's beginning to disturb me. I had just decided to go and make my lunch, involving a prawn stir-fry creating a sauce from the prawns' own juices. I thought "I'll just look up the LQW WOTD first so I can be thinking while cooking".

The rest, as they say ...

    with love

  2. Dear Flaveur Magazine,

I had the most exquisite dish at Catamount Saloon in Cobbleskill, NY. It was Beaver Fricasee with Dumplings. The beaver was tender and with just a delicious hint of gaminess.

Could you by chance get the recipe and publish it?

    Sincerely,

  3. Dear French Beau:

when you said you'll make a fricasee for dinner, i never thought the main dish was me.

it was a good meal, you had me at stew.

looking forward to our next dinner escapade.

    deliciously yours,

    DEL :-)
